Why we exist 

Our core belief is that quality education should be accessible to children from all backgrounds, irrespective of caste, creed, religion, special needs or economic background. True to this thought and feeling, K.K.Academy is a sacred space for the KK family. We are bonded through the common vision of making a difference in the lives of the children who are with us. Each one of them.

There is great power in the belief that these children will one day take on the world and prove to be the leaders of the future.

 

Our Philosophy

Every child has some unique talent.  Recognizing and acknowledging it, raises their self-esteem and self-confidence.

Love and personal involvement are the magic ingredients for the true growth of children.

Planning, experimentation, problem-solving and decision-making form an integral part of learning system.

All lessons in educational environment must be tailored around these powerful factors.

 

What We Are

  • Established in 1989, with the Nursery Class and 5 children.
  • Increased one class every year, till Class VIII.
  • Recognized by the U.P.Board.
  • Now we exceed 240 students.
  • Students belonging to diverse strata of society.
  • 80 getting merit-cum-means scholarships.
  • Another 90 with us through the RTE Act, from extremely backward sections, from whom we don’t charge any fee. These children will be the first generation of literates in their families.
  • Slow learners, children with special needs and abilities.

 

Our Dream

To sustain and improve upon what we have been doing, making a difference in people’s lives.

To serve the cause of nation building through development of children and adults by imparting intellectual, physical, ethical, social and character building education.


Core Values

  1. To educate children irrespective of religion, caste, creed or ability / disability.
  2. The teacher teaches the child as opposed to teaching the subject.
  3. Every child is unique and has a distinct talent.  The purpose of the school is to recognise and encourage that talent.
  4. Children will not be ranked vis-a-vis one another. Each child will herself make a comparison with her earlier performance(s).
  5. Rewards to children will be given in a form such that it does not create strife, contention or jealousy.
